ONE-TIME CLASSES : A focused, hands-on introduction to working with clay.
Our one-time classes are designed for beginners and curious newcomers—offering a guided, low-commitment way to experience the ceramic process in a professional studio setting.
All one-time classes allow for a single-session experience. The full ceramic process extends beyond the class time frame, so finished pieces are not included. Work may be kept for an additional glazing and firing fee.
No enrollment fee or membership required to attend.
Project clay, tools and aprons are included for all classes & lessons.
You may reschedule up to 72hrs before class begins. Read full policies
Make sure to wear comfortable clothes, trim nails, remove jewelry, tie back long hair, and optionally bring your own apron.

Intro to Hand Building
Adults & Ages 14+ · 2 hrs. Each Meeting Time · $90 · Project Clay Included
Hand building is one of the oldest and most direct ways of working with clay. Using only your hands and simple tools, this approach emphasizes form, touch, and material awareness.
In this beginner-friendly class, you’ll create a small project using foundational techniques such as pinching, coiling, and slab construction. The process is intuitive and flexible, making it an ideal entry point into ceramics or a complement to wheel throwing.

One-On-One Wheel Throwing
Adults & Ages 14+ · 1 - 2 hrs. · $85 each hour · Project Clay Included
A private, focused session on the potter’s wheel tailored to your pace and experience level. Ideal for beginners seeking individualized instruction or for those looking to refine specific techniques.
This format allows for direct guidance, hands-on instruction , and a deeper understanding of the wheel-throwing process in a quiet, supportive setting.
One-on-one wheel throwing provides tailored instruction to help you master ceramics, whether you are a complete beginner or an experienced potter looking to refine your techniques. Private lessons offer flexible scheduling and personalized guidance on wedging, centering, pulling walls and making unique forms.

Intro to Slab Building
Adults & Ages 14+ · 2 hrs. · $85 · Project Clay Included
Slab building is a flexible and approachable way of working with clay, using rolled sheets to shape and construct forms by hand. It offers a balance of structure and creativity, making it a great entry point into ceramics.
In this beginner-friendly class, you’ll create a small project using foundational slab techniques such as rolling, cutting, joining, and shaping. With guidance from your instructor, you’ll learn how to build with confidence while exploring your own ideas in a relaxed and supportive studio environment.

Group Wheel Throwing
Adults & Ages 14+ · 2 hr. Session $85 · Project Clay Included
A shared introduction to the potter’s wheel designed for small groups. This class offers a guided, hands-on experience where participants learn the fundamentals of wheel throwing together in a focused, social setting.
Working alongside others, you’ll be introduced to core techniques including centering, opening, and forming basic shapes. Our instructors provide step-by-step guidance while allowing space for experimentation and individual pace.
This format is ideal for friends, families, team gatherings, or small group events—balancing instruction with a relaxed, communal atmosphere.

MULTI-WEEK COURSES / LESSONS
Hand Building: Start To Finish
Adults & Ages 14+ · 4 Weeks $275 · 2 hrs. Each Session · Project clay included
A deeper, process-based approach to working with clay over time. These multi-week courses are designed to build skill, confidence, and material understanding through repetition and progression.
Focusing on hand building techniques—including pinching, coiling, and slab construction—students develop projects across multiple sessions, allowing time for refinement, experimentation, and a more considered approach to form.
Unlike one-time classes, these courses follow the full ceramic process. Work created during the course will be dried, finished, glazed, and fired as part of the curriculum.
Ideal for beginners seeking a more immersive experience, or for returning students looking to expand their practice in a structured, supportive environment.
Full ceramic process including trimming, bisque fire, glazing and glaze firing.

Advanced Wheel Throwing
Adults & Ages 14+ · $325 · 4 Weeks · 2 hrs. Each Session · Project clay included
A four-week course for students with prior wheel throwing experience who are ready to refine technique, improve consistency, and explore more advanced ceramic forms. Through demonstrations, individualized instruction, and dedicated studio practice, students will deepen their understanding of form, control, and craftsmanship on the potter’s wheel.
Students may focus on larger vessels, altered forms, trimming techniques, surface treatments, and developing a more personal direction within their work. The class is designed to support continued growth while allowing space for experimentation and individual goals in a focused, supportive studio environment.
Class includes 4 consecutive classes, practice time, one 25 lb. bag of house clay, bisque firing, glazing, and final glaze firing.
