• Pricing is based on the kiln shelf space your work occupies, including the height of your work. See charts below.

  • Standard shelf pricing accommodates work up to approximately 8" tall

  • Taller or oversized pieces are priced according to the additional kiln space required

  • Additional fees may apply for oversized or slow firings

Firing Requirements & Policies

  • All clay and glazes must be appropriate for the requested firing temperature. Outside clay bodies and glazes must be clearly identified and approved by Claysita prior to firing.

  • Pieces must be completely dry before being submitted for bisque firing. Glazed pieces must have clean bottoms with adequate clearance from the kiln shelf.

  • Cone 10 reduction firings are scheduled periodically based on demand. Full-kiln bookings may be scheduled separately.

  • Firing Disclaimer: Firing ceramics always involves inherent risk. Claysita cannot guarantee firing results and is not responsible for cracking, warping, glaze defects, or other changes that may occur during firing.
