Filming and Photography at Claysita Studios
Claysita Studio is available as a location for select photography, video, editorial, documentary, commercial, and creative productions.
Our ceramic studio offers approximately 3,000 square feet of active workspace with working kilns, pottery wheels, hand-building tables, industrial equipment, shelving, clay surfaces, and the visual character of a functioning Los Angeles ceramics studio.
Larger productions, specialized equipment, extensive lighting, set dressing, after-hours access, or productions requiring significant studio interruption will be quoted individually. A cleaning/reset fee may apply.
Rates
Members and Artists
Claysita members are welcome to take casual photographs and short videos of their own work for personal portfolios and social media.
Organized photography or video shoots involving outside photographers, videographers, clients, businesses, brands, commissioned projects, models, or production crews require advance approval from Claysita Studio and may be subject to a location fee.
Studio membership does not include use of Claysita as a commercial filming or photography location.
Production Requirements
All organized shoots must be approved and scheduled in advance. Depending on the size and nature of the production, Claysita may require proof of liability insurance and/or a certificate of insurance.
Productions may not interfere with scheduled classes, workshops, member access, studio operations, kiln operations, or the privacy of other members.
Photography or filming of other members, instructors, artwork, or personal property requires their permission.
Use of the Claysita Studio name, logo, or identifiable branding for commercial purposes must also be approved in advance.
